Appliance Drop-off

The Jasper County Highway Department takes appliances, such as:

• Refrigerators
• Freezers
• Air Conditioners
• Stoves
• Washers
• Dryers
• Water Coolers

Only appliances from residents within Jasper County will be accepted. The appliances should be cleared out and must be signed in at the Highway Department's office (DIRECTIONS) before being unloaded. Office employees will give instructions on where the appliances should be taken. Televisions, computers, microwaves, etc. are NOT accepted. 

The Northwest Indiana Solid Waste District has a collection for these, along with hazardous waste materials once each year in Jasper County, generally in September.  Should you need further information on NWIS collections, please contact them at 800 856-0980.
