Community Transition Program
The Community Transition Program, or CTP, is a cooperative effort between Community Corrections, Indiana Department of Correction and the Courts which allows clients to serve a portion of their sentence with Community Corrections.
All clients entering the Community Transition Program will be placed in the Work Release Program. This enables the clients to slowly adjust back into society by obtaining employment, establishing a bank account, begin any recommended counseling and locate housing, if needed. Depending on the length of the program the client may be allowed to transition to the Electronic Monitoring program provided they have suitable housing.
