Additional Information

Court appearances are not required for any of the above offenses. The court appearance date that appears at the bottom of the ticket is when payment needs to be received by the clerk's office. An extension may be given one time by calling the Prosecutor’s office at 219-866-5321.

 

If you fail to pay your ticket by the stated Court date, the Court may suspend your license.

 

If paying by mail, you must send a Money Order or Cashier’s Check made payable to “Jasper County Clerk” and mail to 115 W. Washington Street, Ste 204, Rensselaer, IN  47978Please note that we do not accept personal checks.  If you want a receipt mailed to you, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope.

If you want to protest your ticket, you will need to appear in person in the Circuit Court located on the 3rd floor of the Jasper County Courthouse on your scheduled date and time on the ticket.

 

Some tickets may qualify for the deferral program. Call the Jasper County Prosecutor's office at 219-866-9413 Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for more information.

Any violation that is not listed, please call the Clerk’s Office for fines and costs.
